The Scouts
Every week, up and down the UK, over 400,000 young people get together to learn skills for life.
The Scouts, want to empower more young people to take a stand. To raise their voices and stand tall, closing the gaps between people and generations.
Most importantly, they want to gift them with the confidence and skills they need to recognise their ability and go out in the world blazing a trail.
Speaking up
Scouts are great at speaking up when something isn’t right, but speaking up about the role they play in our communities is something they need to work on.
The local communications team of volunteers where tasked with improving this, specifically working with scout counties on their media coverage.

Solution
The final solution combines a hand-created dataset of UK media outlets with a custom Google Looker dashboard to provide each county with its own unique dashboard.
A separate dashboard for UK HQ volunteers provides both a UK overview as well as more in-depth statistics about each area, allowing volunteers to provide more targeted support.
